NEWS RELEASE Storz / Ceriani, World’s Fastest Forks! 350.88mph On September 5, 2006, seven time AMA Flat Track Champion Chris Carr piloted the BUB Enterprises Streamliner to a new FIM Land Speed Record for motorcycles achieving an average speed of 350.884 on successive runs at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The designer/builder of the streamliner, Denis Manning (aka BUB) specifically chose Storz/Ceriani 55mm Inverted forks to guide this two wheeled missile over the salt flats course. Modified to a special short length, the forks utilize the stock precision cartridge damper design found in all Storz/Ceriani Inverted forks. A Storz/Ceriani steering damper was also utilized for additional steering stability. Storz/Ceriani forks are custom made in the USA and are available in several different styles. They come standard with racing quality and record setting performance! Photo credits:
